I am beyond overjoyed to share the news that I have received the Priscila Uppal Memorial Award for Poetry!
I am so grateful to Canthius and the contest judge Phoebe Wang for selecting my poem “After Learning My Friend Has Cancer” — and for her kind words about it. I am also grateful to those who supported the award and to Priscila Uppal for her extraordinary legacy. This is such an honour. Thank you, thank you! The poem will appear in Canthius 08 this summer.
